In October 2013, 25 year-old Houston-based advertising agency FKM changed its name to The Company of Others. I created the brand identity, then worked with a team to build out the collateral pieces.

The logo features a configuration of dots that represent all of the influences that can act upon a given brand. These dots can be "influenced" by an alphabetical barcode library. The barcode lines up with the dots, and as bars are added and removed the dots take different shapes. This interactivity creates an interesting, customizable identity that can be utilized in a vast array of media.

In addition to the brand identity, a poster series was created to celebrate the passions and hobbies of the employees at TCOO. The Company operates on a model that says every employee can contribute in numerous ways outside of their job descriptions.

This life outside of work is called "The Other You," which can consist of anything from art, sports, gardening, spirits, food, or any other number of interests and activities. The posters were printed and hung all around the office in high traffic areas.
